After the 3-2 first overtime loss at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex in Hawkesbury, the Nationals welcomed the Hawks to the Rockland Arena. The Hawks took the lead with Landon Brownlee scoring early in the first period, but Zach Power got the equalizer for the Nats in the second to carry the team into overtime.

With neither team able to score in overtime, the teams went to a shoot-out. The Hawks missed their first two and the Nats sealed the win with Yanic Crête and Patrick Lanthier both finding the back of the net.

The Nats are set to host the Cornwall Colts this Friday, September 30.
