OPP investigating fire at business on Laurier Street

Members of the Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment is investigating after a business on Laurier Street was set on fire earlier this week.

On Monday, July 14, at approximately 1 a.m., members of the Russell County OPP were dispatched to a fire at a business on Laurier Street. Officers reported to the the scene along with the Clarence-Rockland firefighters. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but three vehicles and a nearby structure sustained damages because of the blaze. The initial investigation revealed four unknown suspects departing the business on foot at the time of the fire.

The Russell County OPP is continuing the investigation.
