G.A.B.’s Restaurant and Bar suffered a major fire last week that destroyed their outdoor patio and storage, as well as a waitresses’ car.

Owner Sameer Chhibber said fire investigators informed him that the cause was likely a mouse chewing through an electrical wire.

Chhibber said he is thankful for the community’s overwhelming support, with many offering to set up crowdfunding campaigns for the locally loved restaurateur.

They are now in the process of getting everything cleaned up and reapplying for a patio permit, but in the meantime, they are still happy to serve wings and beer in their air conditioned dining room.
