Nats topple Carleton Place, Hawkesbury to remain unbeaten

The Rockland Nationals blistering start to the 2025-2026 Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) season continues.

With wins against the Carleton Place Canadians and the Hawkesbury Hawks in a home and home series, the reigning Bogart Cup champions record improves to a perfect 15-0. They are the only unbeaten team in the CCHL.

Next up for Rockland is a matchup with the Kemptville 73’s on the road on Friday, Nov. 17. They return home to host the Ottawa Junior Senators on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Visiting Carleton Place

The Nationals travelled to Carleton Place to take on the Canadians last Wednesday evening (Oct. 29) and were able to come away with a win.

Gabriel Le Houillier and Mavrick Brunet each had two goals for Rockland, while captain Mathys Laurent, Mathis Baril and Danel Myloserdnyy scored the other goals for the visiting team in a 7-4 win.

 

         Back to back vs Hawkesbury

The Nats clashed with the Hawkesbury Hawks over the Halloween weekend and were able to grab consecutive wins against their archrivals.

The Hawks welcomed the Nationals on Halloween night and suffered an 8-5 loss against the Nationals. Mathys Laurent led Rockland with two goals while Moussa Seydi, Mavrick Brunet, Dylan, Allie, Danel Myloserdnyy, Theo Landry and Gabriel Le Houillier scored Rockland’s other goals.

The Hawks were hoping for some payback against their longtime rivals when they made the trip to Rockland to take on the Nationals the following night but were unable to capture a win.

The Nats won 5-3 to win their 15th straight game. Joshua Penney scored twice while Gabriel Le Houillier, Mavrick Brunet and Connor Pierson scored Rockland’s other goals.
