Trustee John McAllister was elected to chair of the board for the 2021-22 school year, and Trustee Donald Cram was made vice-chair.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both men have served on the board for many years. McAllister, a retired teacher and former municipal councillor, is serving his third consecutive term after being elected as a trustee in 2010. Cram is trustee for Ward 1, which represents Mississippi Mills, Beckwith Township, and Carleton Place, and is serving his second term after being elected in 2014. This is his first time as vice-chair. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>McAllister thanked the other trustees for their support and is looking forward to leading the board into the next municipal election, which also elects the next slate of board trustees.
