Alfred-Plantagenet teen assaults officers

At 11:30 a.m. on March 8, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to Hawkesbury and District General Hospital, where a 17-year-old teenager from Alfred-Plantagenet was causing a disturbance.

He was charged with causing a disturbance, as well as two counts of assaulting a peace officer.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in L’Orignal on April 6.
